The first time I lit it, my kitchen instantly felt like a late-summer evening on the water. It burns evenly and the ferry-inspired scent is surprisingly subtle but lingers for hours after I blow it out.

The scent carries a salty-water freshness that instantly takes me back to a breezy morning commute, and it burns cleanly without any soot. I've had it lit for three evenings now and the throw is surprisingly strong for a candle this size.

The ferry imagery really comes through when I light this—it's like the room fills with that particular Istanbul air, all salty and warm and slightly mysterious. Burn time is solid, too; I've gotten several evenings out of it and the scent stays strong until the very end of the wick.
